Showing you the best of the south, this weekend has been the BMW Championship at Wentworth GC. This tournament always brings me happy memories as I have previously worked this tournament and this year it did not disappoint!
Imagine shooting a course record to win the biggest win of you career? Well that’s just what Alex Noren did in his stunning 62 Sunday final round. With 8 birdies and an eagle on the tough 18th, Norens -11 was good enough to take the trophy with -9 second to Francesco Molinari in second and -8 for 3 for 3rd place.
Whilst over the water in Texas at the Dean & DeLuca Invitational, Kisner held off Spieth in the final round to secure a one shot victory. A sunday charge of the previous winner Spieth did not phase Kisner as he birdied the first 3 holes of the back 9 to take the lead. -10 was good enough to take the trophy with a par save from a wayward drive.
