DeChambeau claimed his maiden victory at the John Deere Classic! The 23 year old birdied his two final holes to snatch the title off his fellow American Patrick Rogers. Not only did DeChambeau win this title after starting 4 shots behind Rogers, he also claimed his ticket for the Open next week. What a weekend for the young golfer!

This weekend the gentlemen have a test of their golf at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open played at Dundonald Links. Rafa Cabrera Bello had a two putt birdie on the first playoff hole against Callum Shinkwin to claim his third European Tour event victory. Shinkwin could only manage a par, only a few minutes after he bogeyed it in his final round. Cabrera Bello pressured the young 24 year old with a course record 64 on Sunday to make the play off.

Moving onto the next major, have your opinions changed of who’s going to win?
