It’s tight at the top of the Winter Merit Table…
Richard Storey has rocketed into 2nd place in the Winter Merit Table after a nett 65 in last Sunday’s Medal. With Lee Preston at the top of the table on a total of 174 points, Rich is closely lying in 2nd place on 173!
John ‘ Taff’ Davis is close behind with an overall of 162. With only 2 rounds left, is it too late to catch them?
Open Competitions
There will now be an ‘Opens’ folder in the Gents locker room. The folder will be full of information about local Opens at other courses.
In addition to this, in the centre of the locker room there will be a pin board with all the 2017 Teeside Union competitions. If anyone is interested in playing in one then please follow the instructions on the board or ask myself for any assistance.
Quiz Night Success
I’d like to thank everyone that came down to the first Quiz Night last Friday and thank you all for the brilliant feedback!
It was lovely to see some many laughing faces (even if it was at my expense and poor pronunciation!)
I will be running the Quiz on the last Friday of every month from now on.
