Greenkeeping Update with Tom 26/09/16

It’s been a busy period golf-wise and that is great to see. Efforts have been made to present the course at it’s best even while so many man hours are being currently heavily invested in the cut and collect rough program . General cutting duties are being performed as often as possible, as growth is still strong . Rye grass in approaches and fairways has been treated with rescue to help remove it from the sward and push us towards the goal of fine , sustainable turf that is best to play golf from. We hope to top-dress greens with sand this week and possibly a little free at the end of this week. The seasons definitely are starting to change, so the fair weather golfers amongst you need to get your golf in now!

Look out for Greg’s September Blog this coming Friday for a full Greenkeeping overview!
Thanks
Tom
