What lovely weather we are having! Long may it continue!

With this long, dry period of weather, the golf course changes & the way it should be played also changes. With the course being firm and bouncy, you need to consider this when selecting what club to use.

You will rarely be able to hold the ball on the green if you land it there. You need to consider how far the ball is running out and judge your distance from there. Once you have done this you can choose the correct club.

With the greens drying out, this generally means they will play faster than normal. When the greens are faster than normal, the putt will tend to break slightly more. This is due to the fact you are hitting the putt softer, therefore the ball has more time to take the break.

I hope you’re enjoying this fine weather as much as me & I hope to see you on the Golf Course soon!
