Rockcliffe Cup result
The first big competition of the summer season was the Rockcliffe cup and it was a brilliant field of players.
With a stroke play format, Martin Myers came out on top and took the title with an excellent Nett 64. Charlie Hampton was the runner up with a commendable 65 with John P Dean coming in a close 3rd.
Craig Hartas had the lowest Gross score of the day with a Gross 73!
Well done guys.
Nigel Dixon won the nearest the pin and the twos sweep was split between 8 players.
Well done to all that took part.
Tuesday Night and Friday Night result
I think we were all looking forward to the midweek 9 hole competitions starting this week and we were frustrated to see the Tuesday night Rabbit & Tigers event cancelled due to poor weather.
On a more cheerful note, we were able to play the Friday Night League and again, there was another great turn out of players!
With a medal format off the yellow tees played, Alex Fleming took 1st place with a Nett 32 and Peter Stobbs and Ryan Chapman took 2nd & 3rd also with a Nett 32.
Well done to all that took part!
MND Day Entry now open

Hello All
Entries are now open for this year’s MND Day.
The day and format will be exactly the same as previous years;
4 Man Team Event.
White/Red tees.
Teams can be any combination of gents, ladies, members, and guests (though would ask that guests have an official handicap).
Full prize table .
£50.00 per team .
Tee times from 8.00am to 2.00pm.
As other years, you can either pay in advance (at the pro shop), or you can pay on the day – but please appreciate that entering a team is taken as a definite commitment to play. You can all also pay by bank transfer to the charity account – contact me for details.
The day is always oversubscribed so please get your entries in early – I simply need a “lead” name, and an approximate preferred tee time.
