Moscrop Cup Next Weekend
Next weekend will see the first 2-day competition of the year, the Moscrop Cup. It will be played over Saturday & Sunday and tee times are available between 7am & 11am.
Please enter online for both days, as entry will be open from this Saturday – if you can only make one day please only enter the day you can play. Add your name to a tee time and we will endeavour to get you as close to that tee time as possible when the draw is completed (Tuesday 12th). Players may select different tee times on each day. Playing the competition will be prohibited outside these times.
Historically we have been inundated with last minute changes for any competitions with draws produced 7 days before so for this reason entry will not close for the Moscrop Cup until TUESDAY 13TH JUNE at 5pm. The draw will be posted online and in the locker room at 7pm.
The format for the Moscrop Cup is a 36 holes full handicap singles par bogey. The entry fee is £6, which is payable on the first day. The entry fee for playing one day remains at £6.
The members area of the website shows a leader board for competitions, can I ask if you feel your score is in contention could you please check the leaderboard as your presence in a play off maybe required after the second round.
Hunley Gents Captains Away Day
Hunley are delighted to announce that Captain Steve Linford has chosen to visit Romanby Golf & Country Club on Friday 3 Aug 2018 for his Captains Away Day.
It will be £35 for the day which will include a 2 course meal, prizes and the golf! If you are wanting to go on the coach, an additional £10 will be required and will need to be paid 2 weeks before the day.
We advise players to arrive at Romanby by at least 10am. If you are travelling via the coach, we will be leaving Hunley at 9am so please arrive at Hunley no later than 8.45am.
If you would like to play, please put your name up on the sheet in the locker room and indicate whether you will be taking the coach.
Presidents Trophy Abandoned
Unfortunately Sundays Presidents Trophy was cancelled due to the fog. All players entry fees were refunded and the competition will be rescheduled for Sunday 1st July 2018. Entry will be open from the 8 days before the competition.
