Unbelievable scoring on Sundays Merit Table Stableford
Some of the best scores were entered into the recent Merit Table Stableford.
Rob Sinclar and Martin Myers’s BOTH shot 45 points. Rob had a better last 6 holes so pipped Martin to 1st place.
Adrian Dowson won the Nearest The Pin and 13 players got a share of the twos.
Impressive stuff!
Cook Shield Result
Dave Clarke & Mick Doe got the ball rolling with the first Cook Shield win going to them with a Nett 61. Ryan Chapman & Nigel Garrett had the same score but Clarke and Doe had a better last 6 holes.
Steve Hinson and Martin Lamb came 3rd with a Nett 52!
Nearest the pin went to Keith Coote and 16 players shared the 2’s sweep.
Gents Locker Rooms
I would like to remind people that the Gents locker room is not a dumping ground for old shoes, bags or broken trollies.
I apologise if this does not apply to you, but I would like to remind everyone that we have superb locker room facilities and I would hate them to be abused.
Golf Shoes are not allowed to be left under the benches, that’s what the lockers are for.
You can purchase a locker for the year for only £35. If you would like one, please get in touch with myself or any of the golf team.
